Mission Statement

The mission of this blog is to raise awareness for the innocent lives of those who cannot defend, speak or fight for themselves because they are being silently murdered everyday by a procedure that our country has no problem with: abortion.

One Million, Two Hundred, Ten Thousand # 2

The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to work with my Aunt in the nursery on Wednesday nights. It is so wonderful! I love being with babies and spending time with my aunt. All day everyday I where my bracelet that I talked about in the post just before. The precious little guy (above) was born into a wonderful, godly family who are always at church and any conversation you have with them turns into how greatful they are for the things that GOd has done for them! They are such an awesome family! As this little guy was standing in my lap one Wednesday night, sticking his togue out, laughing and droowling all at the same time, he glanced down at my left arm. On this arm is where the strap of metal representing the lives of so many babies killed. As he stood in my lamp he started to pull at it. This broke my haert. This precious, innocent baby, standing in my lap, could of been ono of the one million, two thousand, ten thousand on my wrist.
Please pray as I pray that the hearts of our leaders will be changed, that they will turn to God in this time of crisis. That we as Christians would stand and not bend to te standards set by this world. As Christ said, "We are to be in the world but not of the world."
God Bless,
Joy.

STAND IN THE RAIN
She never slows down.
She doesn't know why but she knows that when she's all alone, feels like its all coming down
She won't turn around
The shadows are long and she fears if she cries that first tear, the tears will not stop raining down
[CHORUS] So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain
She won't make a sound
Alone in this fight with herself and the fears whispering if she stands she'll fall down
She wants to be found
The only way out is through everything she's running from wants to give up and lie down.
[CHORUS] So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain
So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
Stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
[CHORUS] So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain

One Million, Two Hundred, Ten Thousand

Some of you may ask what is the significance of this number, what does it have to do with being pro life OR patriotic. Well, I will tell you, every time 356 days go by, this is the amount of lives that have been taken, innocent, silent, precious, God given lives that WE humans HAVE ENDED!

All day everyday I where a metal bracelet with this number printed on it. My sister , Grace* is a blacksmith. She wanted to do something to take a stand against abortion. She thought of making bracelets and printing certain numbers on them. Mine says, 1,2,10,000, this is how many lives are taken EVERY year BECAUSE of abortion. Hers says 430000. This is an estimated number of how many precious lives that have been taken since January 22nd, 1973 when this MURDEROUS act our has sugar coated and calls abortion. And everyday, three thousand are added to this number. The Lord has blessed me and has put me into a family that treasures life, blessed me parents who KNOW and have TAUGHT me that life is precious and that ONLY GOD gives and takes away life. Some may know but some may not know that life is precious, God given, God ordained and that it IS a treasure! And we do not teach that to then how can we blame them? Just like when we are little, most of the time we don't really know that we aren't supposed to do certain things so we do them. But, we are then TAUGHT not to. We have to teach them, love them, and help them learn that we are not the giver nor the taker of life. And I know that the honest disobedience is much bigger then this, but, they must be taught. And I hope and pray that I may an example in my walk with the Lord and that he will show me how I can teach someone that life is A GIFT!

Thank you all for joining me in this!

God Bless!
Joy.

Day 1, Our Babies in Ghana: A report from Mama!

WOW! A long flight, no sleep, freezing cold plane, great company on the plane and nice conversations - it is all like a dream. The attendants were very kind. Maybe it was just me, but the whole world was happy!! We arrived in Ghana to 75 degree temp with a nice breeze. Our driver is Donny, and is just great. We got some bread and water, and then came straight to Eban House. We interrupted school. I held Jubilee first, and Uncle Bobby held Jesse. Then we held them both, took lots of pictures, said lots of "I love you" s and just tried to actually believe that we are here. In less than 5 minutes, Jesse had my sunglasses on his head and knew how to operate the camera. Jubilee never left my lap, and I could feel her little arm around my back. She seems lighter but taller than Jesse. Jesse has a twinkle in his eye that reminds me of Levi. He is smart and active, and loved the books, Hope. They all did. Jesse brought the books out one at a time to the wooden table to his friends. He really shares well. the driver had to take us to the Guest House to unload our bags, and then we walked back. When I walked through the living room area to go to the office to email home, I heard a little voice saying, "Mama...." and Jesse and Jubilee were walking towards me. Uncle Bobby smiled and said, "That was sweet!" And it was. There are so many things that are so different. Lots of markets out in the open. Lots of people walking around with baskets on their heads. The main thing is that I am with the babies. They are so beautiful. They are so sweet. We are very blessed to have these two precious ones in our lives. They keep looking at the pictures over and over. Jubilee likes the upstairs dormer windows. Muna showed Jesse the picture of Eben and Daddy, and Jesse pointed and said, "MY Daddy." Jubilee loves to be held. Jesse likes to be close, too, but he is a busy boy. This is a wonderful day. I'm in Africa. It is a beautiful place. The people are so sweet. Jesse has been sitting by my side while I use the office lap top. He told me he wants a biscuit - it's from seeing the cooking pictures. He is tired of waiting, so I'm going to go for now.

I don't know where to start, what to say or what to do

I don't exactly know what I will write on this blog but I have been wanting to create a blog dedicated to pro life and patriotism then I have a cooking blog! So, I decided that I should just go ahead and do it! My sister made me and herself each a bracelet. She is a blacksmith, so as you probably guessed, it is metal. At first she didn't know if people would where them because of how heavy they would be. Well, my other sister, Hope said that they needed to be heavy. You may ask why she said this, well, on my bracelet is printed a number, that number is 1,2,10,000. And on hers is the number of 43,00000. My number represents the amount of babies that are killed each year and her number represents ALL those that have been killed 1973 when this MURDEROUS act we, Americans call abortion started. This is heavy burden on our country, that is why Grace made the bracelets out of pure metal, so that it would remind us to pray that this act will one day come to an end. And, as you know, without we as CHRISTIANS standing tall in this war, running to the darkness with the light of our Savior and fighting for these precious and innocent lives it won't come to an end. You may that is to big of an act; well, I think that you have just forgotten that:
"I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13

God will not set before us a task that He will not give us the strength to conquer!

God Bless,
Joy.
